What is CMMI?

CMMI verse ISO


CMMI Process Models have been developed in the past by an organization called Software Engineering Institute (SEI), and the main difference between CMMI vs ISO is the concept. CMMI is a process model and ISO is an audit standard. CMMI is a set of related “best practices” derived from industry leaders and relates to product engineering and software development. Both frameworks of CMMI & ISO are used together, but have distinct differences depending on the ISO standard and CMMI maturity level.
